Summary
The Segregation firewall Engineer will work with Data center architects, work on implementation of segregation Firewalls and build New data center setups The Firewall Engineer will be a member of a team that will plan, design, and implement the overall security architecture to protect the infrastructure, and to provide a secure method of accessing applications and the Internet. He should have a design, build and architecting experience in enterprise environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
Needs strong Fortinet skills, ability to design, architect and perform day to day firewall operations for our business, work escalations and incidents and work closely with our customers. Knowledge of IPSEC tunnels, Fortinet VDOMs, routing are important
Must Have – Strong experience with Fortinet firewall administration, creating and supporting virtual (vdom) environments, understands and supports BGP configurations both on firewall and more generally in a routed MPLS environment
Must have performed or part of firewall migration in DC environment
Strong Knowledge and support of VPN tunnels
Job will include the design, architecture and build of firewall configurations globally to duplicate the environments at few sites. Once built, support the transition of services off the current equipment to the new
Work with other Network organizations, logistics providers for configuration and installation work and customers and business partners in the planning and migration of services to the new environments
Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex firewall related issues
Migration of Extranet connections (VPN tunnels and dedicated circuits)
Flexibility in hours to support change windows will be required
