Job Description :

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is beginning a project to replace our current Maintenance Management System (MMS). The current system (SAP Work Manager) is being replaced with the Trimble Unity Manager system. As part of this project, CDOT is looking to bring on an Enterprise Architect to lead the CDOT side of the project, and oversee the overall project working with both Trimble and the implementation vendor
Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project's scope, schedule, budget, and resources required.
  • Making sure integrations with other systems at CDOT are identified and successful
  • Manage vendor and implementor relationships to ensure that deliverables are met within budget and on schedule. Monitor progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track
  • Follow a communication plan that includes regular status updates with implementor and stakeholder engagement
  • Work closely with CDOT project manager, to ensure the system meets the organization's requirements and objectives
  • Develop a change management plan that includes communication and training to ensure that end-users are prepared for the new system's implementation.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Experience implementing a Maintenance Management system at a government organization. Preference would be given to those who have implemented Agile Assets or CityWorks
