Duration: Until 8/31/2024 with possible extension

Important Note: Candidate will be working hybrid with some remote work opportunities; regularly scheduled in-office days are required. Onsite and remote attendance will be directed/coordinated by the Direct Supervisor. The selected contractor(s) will be required to come in person to the LBJ Building to obtain CPA equipment, badge, and initial assignments

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Selected Candidate must complete the following MuleSoft Training before starting assignment:
 
CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced analysis/programming tasks such as:
•        Work with the cross-functional team and solution architects to understand business problem and draw best solutions.
•        Lead, analyze and research backend implementation strategies and design solutions
•        Design, develop, and implement backend and frontend web applications based on .NET technologies with REACT JS, .NET Core based micro-services with event-based architecture using Mulesoft gateway, integrating with the SQL server backend.
•        Design database models and work with the DBA team to implement the efficient and scalable database solution.
•        Create a messaging queue-based implementation for long running processes.
•        Take initiative to solve technical challenges with industry best practices.
•        Address and resolve complex technical issues with internal/external customers, builds good communication protocols and updates management team with the weekly/monthly status.
•        Perform extensive code reviews and analysis.
•        Write reports on code analysis to determine if industry standards and best practices are being followed; provide analysis to address found shortcomings.
•        Provide knowledge sharing to new/existing development staff.
•        Performs other duties as assigned.
 
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
7 Required Experience with Full stack .NET based web application development with microservices and micro-front end model in aggregator pattern
7 Required Experience with building webpack and module federation based micro-frontends
7 Required Experience with event driven microservice development in .NET Core 6.0+ and C# programming language, ActiveMQ messaging queue
7 Required Experience with front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, Javascripts, Webpack, Module Federation, REACT JS, CoreUI for REACT JS, Typescript
5 Required Experience with highly complex application security requirements
5 Required Experience with SQL Server and using extensive SQLs
5 Required Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkin, MSBuild
5 Required Experience with code reviews and in-depth code analysis
5 Required Experience with OpenShift and Docker containers
5 Required Experience with developing .NET applications with Linux
7 Preferred Experience with building applications with NoSQL databases
3 Preferred Experience writing unit tests in C# with NUnit, MSTest, Moq frameworks
3 Preferred Experience with building front-end using component libraries like CoreUI for REACT JS
3 Preferred Using Checkmarx and SonarQube for code quality and security vulnerabilities and fixes
3 Preferred Using ForgetRock and OKTA IDP tokens, securing microservices
2 Preferred Experience with knowledge transfer to junior level web developers
2 Preferred Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
2 Preferred Experience with Confluence and JIRA
2 Preferred Experience using MuleSoft API platform
2 Preferred Experience with developing .NET applications with Linux
