Demand Planner - on behalf of our client in the Midstream sector, Procom Services is looking for on (1) Demand Planner. This demand Planner will be responsible for Planning/Scheduling preventive maintenance and should possess a solid understanding of common materials used in maintenance of gas transmission infrastructure i.e. valves, compressors, pumps, filters, electrical and instrumentation components etc.

Demand Planner Job Details
* Analyze and aggregate data across US Transmission and Western Canada for materials & resources required for upcoming preventive maintenance & project work.
* Work with area Planners/Schedulers to identify, and target, the best opportunities for potential savings with respects to material and resources required.
* Solid understanding of common materials used in maintenance of gas transmission infrastructure i.e. valves, compressors, pumps, filters, electrical and instrumentation components etc.
* Performing detailed job estimates.
* Understanding of higher level scheduling in relation to system, and discipline group, impacts i.e. bigger picture thinking.
* Identify opportunity areas of improvement in the work management cycle (work approval, planning, scheduling, coordination, execution, documentation)

Demand Planner Mandatory Skills
* Proven experience in data analytics synthesizing large amounts of data, out of SAP PM and other sources, from a maintenance planning/scheduling perspective to identify a grouping of material and resources, along with other opportunities for improvement/optimization of work.
* Demonstrated knowledge and ability in Maintenance Management, Management of Change and all relevant SAP modules, PM, MM, CO, PS.
* Demonstrated knowledge and ability in supply chain management functions with a focus on material and contract management.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
* The ability to plan and schedule unit outages, i.e. boiler, compressor stations, and all associated maintenance associated with the outage.
* Planning and Scheduling work +5 years with proven estimating skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of gas transmission pipeline operations and logistics.
* Demonstrated knowledge of warehousing is considered an asset
* Formal post-secondary education in business administration, bachelors of science, etc.
* Project Planning Software; Primavera or MS Project.
* Qualified Tradesperson, Engineer or senior pipeline (compressor station) Operator. (Note: should have relevant knowledge of SAP computer systems, detail oriented, ability to work with little direction, etc.
* Read and interpret P&ID s
* Up to 40% (as needed/Requested Majority in Eastern US and Western Canada at times
Demand Planner Nice to Have Skills
* Mechanical Eng. and qualified millwright is considered an asset.
* Completed an accepted certification in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling i.e. MMP (Maintenance Management Professional), Carver, SAP, Maximo, any other CMMS
