DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done.
The CMDB consolidation project needs a Project Manager to assist with the next phase of integrating BMC Helix CMDB with tables from ServiceNow and HHS internal tools that track assets, services, and networking equipment. This effort requires a Project Manager with knowledge and experience of implementing a CMDB. This role will be responsible for gathering requirements, maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, documentation, and deadlines. Project Manager will also conduct regular project status meetings, maintain a risk and issues log, and ensure a timely delivery of high – quality CMDB.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
5 Required Experience as an IT Project Manager
3 Required Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
3 Required (at least 2) Understanding of CMDB tools such as BMC Helix, ServiceNow, and API Interfaces processes
3 Required (at least 2) Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks
5 Preferred Experience as an IT Project Manager leading CMDB Integration
5 Preferred Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
3 Preferred Direct experience with CMDB tools such as BMC Helix and ServiceNow
3 Preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certifications
