Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midlevel Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud technologies, with a focus on EKS, Terraform, Morpheus, and Identity Access Management (IAM). The candidate should also possess expertise in installing and configuring Python, and R software on AWS, and have a solid understanding of AWS storage solutions such as S3, Redshift, and PostgreSQL. Additionally, proficiency in AWS CLI, Lambda, and Glue is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Cloud Services and Virtualization Department (CSVD) to deploy and manage EC2 instances in the AWS cloud.
- Install and configure application software required for web scraping environments.
- Utilize AWS EKS for container orchestration, demonstrating 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Leverage Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployment and management processes.
- Utilize Morpheus for efficient cloud management and optimization.
- Manage Identity Access Management (IAM) for secure and compliant access to AWS resources.
- Install and configure Python, R software on AWS cloud platforms.
- Demonstrate expertise in AWS storage solutions, including S3, Redshift, and PostgreSQL.
- Work with AWS technologies such as AWS CLI, Lambda, and Glue to develop and maintain cloud-based applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS EKS.
- 2 to 3 years of experience with Terraform.
- 2 to 3 years of experience with Morpheus.
- 2 to 3 years of experience with Identity Access Management (IAM).
- 2 to 3 years of experience installing and configuring Python, R software on AWS.
- 2 to 3 years of experience with AWS storage solutions (S3, Redshift, PostgreSQL).
- 2 to 3 years of experience with AWS technologies (AWS CLI, Lambda, Glue).
- Nice to have: Experience in Python development and web scraping.
