SUMMARY: Provides extensive technical and functional support for business systems, catering to various departments within the company. Collaborate closely with others to conceptualize and develop custom-tailored business applications and reports to optimize process efficiency and achieve strategic objectives. Take the lead in creating and executing SQL reports to enrich our Java applications, enhancing our technological capabilities and overall operational excellence.
MAJOR DUTIES:
1. Develop and maintain custom Middleware Java Application integration into SaaS EDI application, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and CPQ.
2. Analyze technical application issues/requirements and coordinate fix/implementation with key stakeholders and external support teams.
3. Define, develop, validate, test, and maintain reports for executive management and key stakeholders.
4. Implement change control from a development environment to production. Schedule & monitor jobs to ensure daily and month-end processes are running.
5. Create and maintain SQL queries and BI reports to provide real-time visibility to critical business data in business applications on SaaS platforms.
6. Develop function and technical documentation for business processes, workflow, and applications. Assign and audit user security and access and implement and manage strong application security policies.
7. Interface & manage external support vendors on product defects & issues to resolution 24 X 7 as required.
8. Assist in project management to ensure on-time delivery of critical tasks and projects. Other functional and technical duties and tasks may be assigned or required.
9. Provide technical support for the EDI platform, including integration and coordination with trading partners to implement and troubleshoot EDI document-related issues.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related degree.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing and maintaining business Jave applications; preference in managing and developing using Apache Tomcat application platform.
· Minimum of 3 years managing major implementation, upgrades, and projects; strong project management skills and worked with agile project framework like Scrum.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience creating and maintaining custom SQL reports using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, and Smart View tools.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
· Strong communication skills required in-person and via telephone and web and audio-conferencing tools.
· Available to work outside core business hours and weekends as required.
· Required to work 100% in Hendeson, NV office with 20-25% travel to remote offices as required.
