Description: As a Senior IT Business Analyst, the employee performs a complete range of information system business analyst assignments including, but not limited to, designing, developing, testing, and implementing computer systems and applications for AG, LEO-MIOSHA, LEO-MSHDA. This individual will be looked upon to provide technical support to other team members and evaluate new development tools and agency systems. Evaluate, document, and inform DTMB management and supported client agency of impact and risks, including disaster recovery planning, to existing IT solutions due to proposed legislation, enhancement requests, or changes in governmental processes or procedures. Actively participate in the development and implementation of assigned client agency’s IT strategic direction/plan and collaborate with other DTMB staff to resolve client agency IT issues.
Essential Duties:
This analyst position is a Senior IT Business Analyst supporting AG, MSHDA & MIOSHA. This position leads efforts in determining solutions to complex technical problems and solutions. This business partner facing position is required to complete beginning-to-end coordination of incoming technical service requests. Tasks include analysis, Evaluating IT Readiness, estimation, requirements gathering, research, audit investigation, security reviews & risk assessments, self-learning of new technologies, setting up and coordinating work assignments, and leading ongoing customer interaction in all capacities. This position works closely with the client agency and DTMB teams daily.

· Knowledge of fundamental Project Management Methodology (PMM)

· Knowledge of the fundamental concepts and operating principles of data communications and data processing hardware and software.
· Knowledge of application development environments and related tools.
· Knowledge of the principles, theories, techniques, and methodologies of data processing systems analysis.
· Knowledge of object-oriented application design techniques and tools.
· Knowledge of .Net application development tools.
· Knowledge of Client-server environments
