Job Description
At least 3 years of experience in architecting cloud solutions using MS Azure
Should have in-depth understanding and hands-on experience in Azure IaaS service model.
Experience in VMware or any other virtualization platforms such as VirtualBox / KVM etc.
Experience with private cloud platforms such as Open stack is an added advantage
Experience in automation using one or more automation platforms such as Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible
Hands-on experience and troubleshooting on Azure Virtual Network Gateway, ExpressRoute.
Experience to create architecture diagrams, demonstrate Azure features.
Experience in implementing high availability Azure solutions
Good understanding of concepts like Routing, Load Balancing, Redundancy, Disaster Recovery, VPN, Firewalls
Knowledge in core infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (AD), AD Group Policies, LDAP, LDAP Integration, Exchange etc.
Knowledge and exposure to at least 2 databases like HANA, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB etc
Advanced DB Implementation skills such as DB clustering, DB Failover Cloud Platforms
Should have experience with command line or API integration with Cloud Service Provider APIs
Should be well versed in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Azure Key Vault, Application Gateways/Traffic Manager, Functions, Azure AD & Roles, AKS and API Gateways.
Strong in scripting tools like PowerShell, JSON scripting to automate Microsoft Azure task.
Experience in Cloud health monitoring, capacity planning and consumption trend analysis, cost optimization techniques
Should be able to determine multiple ways to work around or eliminate technical blockers
Windows server environment including server deployment, migrations, upgrades, patch management, application support, business continuity, operational and disaster recovery.
Designing Azure foundational elements like VNET, Blob storage, instances, functions, networking etc.,
Understanding and hands-on experience on Azure Disk, Azure Resource Monitoring, Azure Automation, Runbook and Azure Backup and Restoration.
Good understanding of cost management and billing, resource utilization and calculation.
Should have excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and technical teams including software development groups
