Job Description
· This person will provide infrastructure support leadership for the z/OS MQ/WAS support role.
· A strong candidate will have previous z/OS Systems Programming experience, strong problem solving skills, strong communication skills, strong organization skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced, production critical environment.
· This position supports the provisioning and maintaining Queue Managers and WebSphere Application Servers onto the z/OS platforms, in support of the business applications.
· This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technical infrastructures while providing technical direction to the application partners.
The Expertise we’re looking for
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a IT related field
Experience in a z/OS systems support organization
5+ years of technical leadership
Expertise with the following technologies: z/OS, MQ, WebSphere Application Server on z/OS, JCL, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, ControlM
