Job Description :
Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Summary :

You will participate in the development and enhancement of the Workday system while providing data entry support for daily operations. Consultants needs to have experience collecting and responding to business requirements You will work continuously to provide support for the Workday system and its users by performing data entry activities, assisting with biweekly payroll processing, researching issues/unexpected results/process flaws and recommending solutions or alternate processing methods. This position is crucial to our ability to automate and improve business processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and improve the end user experience. The ideal candidate will be experienced with payroll and HR, possessing a keen eye for detail, functional HR knowledge and experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This individual contributor position reports to the HR Manager.



Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for Workday HRMS system including troubleshooting, enhancement of configuration and new configuration.
Responsible for Workday / HCM Support or iService tickets that must be created to track all problems . Backfill/BA team will resolve problems based off tickets submitted.
Training on new business processes as requested by Bus Ops / troubleshooting assistance for team.
Attend major reorganization meetings with Bus Ops as necessary.
Responsible for Payroll Support / Troubleshooting.
Attend Workday Stakeholder Meetings.
Responsible for Time Tracking Support / Troubleshooting.

Requirements:

Must have 3-5 years Workday configuration experience working in different Workday environments.
Good understanding of HR practices, reporting needs and data analysis
At minimum, must have HCM, Security, Business Process configuration and troubleshooting experience.


Preferred:

Bachelor''s degree in a human resources- or information technology-related field,
Two or more years of experience in database administration.
Advanced computer skills required;
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel
Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders and other business units

Contractor (4 months with extension )
