Job Title: Workday HCM Consultant
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6 months
Preferred: USC, GC, GC EAD, Local Consultant
Job Description / Requirements: Workday HCM

The Workday SME partners with various functional areas to provide HR system administration and support, as well as data, organizational, and security role maintenance. The Workday Consultant/Contractor completes complex HR operational activities as well as participates in various HR systems integrations.

· Provide support for end users including third party administrators with integrations.

· Research and resolve issues, unexpected results or process flaws; recommends process/customer service improvements or alternate methods to meet requirements.

· Work with cross functional teams and maintain data in the system for integrity and compliance.

· Create, maintain and support a variety of reports utilizing Workday Report Writer. Create management reporting dashboards.

· Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation; train end users (new and existing employees) new processes/functionality.

· Review upcoming enhancements and release information and identify what changes will impact current features and integrations.

· Document process and testing results for compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred

8+ years related experience

MUST have WORKDAY experience

Experience in system life-cycle phase, requirements, analysis, design, testing,
implementation, deployment and system upgrade

Experience with major ERP Platform i.e. Workday

Advance knowledge of Reporting tool usage- Workday Report Writing

Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply
in varied situations

Advanced analytical skills including excellent problem-solving skills with an understanding of
core HR business practices (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and HR Shared
Services. Ability to identify trends based on data analysis and the ability to develop solutions
based on analysis to technology related issues/opportunities

Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of computers and software programs including
advanced understanding of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Access.

Advanced knowledge of reporting tool usage. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system
issues and provide solutions
