In cooperation with the customer, analyze and develop solutions for business problems and/or opportunities. This includes designing, coding, testing, implementing and documenting of business applications including Workday and OnBase.

Provides primary support for the organization''s patient care and billing system including implementing vendor upgrades, modifying the application according to customer requirements and interfacing the application with other patient care/billing systems in the organization. This position is expected to follow established IS policies and procedures.

PROBLEM ANALYSIS/RESOLUTION: Critical thinking skills to assess customer needs, and determine the appropriate course of action to meet those needs. Interviews customers to collect information on reported problems or development requests. If troubleshooting an issue, directs customers through diagnostic procedures to determine source of problem. Utilizes problem-solving skills, creativity and innovation. Maintain current knowledge of the proper ITIL processes based on incidents, requests, and problems and properly escalate incidents and problems.

SOFTWARE DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT: Create and maintain applications, interfaces and specific reports using appropriate development language and/or technologies in coordination with customers. Integrate/interface applications as necessary with new or existing systems. Utilize change management processes during the development and implementation life cycle. This includes tracking all requests within the ticketing system. Develop and maintain customer interface standards and coding conventions for applications using best practices and routine design standards. Ensure applications are tested appropriately and they comply with regulatory and organizational standards. Create and maintain documentation for applications/modifications and work with Help Desk/training staff to facilitate education of features/function. Ensures proper backups are being performed (on applications within scope of position) and all appropriate Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity documentation has been updated based on any application changes be it modifications, development, or discontinued use of application. Ensures that PHI and all other confidential data is secure at all times via the technical means available at DCH. This includes security while data is being accessed, transmitted, and stored.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Workday ERP experience, Associates Degree in MIS or Computer Science field, 3-4 years of experience, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and email products, Strong problem solving skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
