Role: PHP/WordPress Developer
Duration: 6+ months contract
Location: Redlands, CA (east of Los Angeles)

Must Have Experience: WordPress 8, at least 3 years of experience, PHP, JavaScript, LAMP Stack, HTML5, CSS3

Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop a custom WordPress application
Troubleshoot and resolve varying levels of technical issues
Manage versioning and deployment of application source code including source control management, branching, tagging, etc.
Maintain and develop a variety of custom WordPress applications built using PHP and JavaScript with an eye to continuous improvement
Use your coding and problem-solving skills to support web applications in a fast-paced, high-energy agile team environment
Work directly with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve issues with custom applications
Requirements for the Role:
Experience with entire LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
Experience developing custom themes in WordPress
Experience developing custom plugins in WordPress
Knowledge of advanced WordPress configurations
Knowledge in working with REST APIs
Experience developing using MVC frameworks
Experience developing with JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3
Recommended Qualifications
Experience with Vagrant
Experience with plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields and Blubrry Powerpress
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles
