Are you an innovative and passionate Sr. Software Engineer who enjoys developing solutions to the most exciting and complex business challenges? The client is developing the next generation of software to run our physical auction operations while continuing to enhance the installed base. This software drives over 80 auction locations across North America and over 800 million dollars in revenue each year. We are employing the latest infrastructure, technology, and best practices to build world-class software using the full Microsoft stack.
The individual we are seeking will leverage their experience, skills, and knowledge to help us transform client’s physical auction management platform into a modern and scalable system that will serve as the foundation for business innovation and growth in the future.
Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
o Participate in iterative development of solutions based on acceptance criteria and designs
o Participate in code reviews, planning and estimation meetings
o Test solutions and troubleshoot issues
o Participate in cross-discipline collaboration with team members including the product owners, designers, and testers
Required Skills
o Proven experience developing C# .Net applications
o Experience implementing web services
o Deep understanding of and experience using SQL
o Experience with unit testing
o Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and Git or similar is preferred
o Continuous Integration and Delivery is preferred
