Position : Windows Systems Administrator
Location : New York City, NY
Duration : contract to hire after about 6 months
Rate : Rate is a day $550 on C2C/1099 max
Salary at conversion is 120-130 K (we do not get a fee on conversion
UPDATE:
NY is the location - they could possibly work out of the NJ office a few days a week.
This is consulting and might go full time
They are moving to Windows 10 - if a candidate has that would be a plus
Needs to be able to hit the ground running.
Our client, a major global investment bank is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Windows Systems Administrator consultant to provide support of their Windows platform. This includes all aspects of the Server platform life cycle from procurement, to build, to configuration, administration through to the operating system’s retirement. This candidate will manage all these aspects of the life cycle.
WHAT GETS YOU THE JOB:
2 - 8 years in a mid-to-large environment Windows Server environment with related services (Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Demonstrate enterprise skills in technologies
o Windows 2012/ 2008/ 7 /
o VMWare 5x – VDI experience preferred
o SCCM - is a plus
Experience working in Financial Services is a plus.
Solid scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript plus WMI extensions
Strong attention to details with ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution
Demonstrates constant considerations of risks and impacts especially with regards to changes such as security patching (i.e., change management
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
