Title : Windows System Center Operations Manager SCOM Position
Duration : 6-12+ months
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job description:
1. Minimum 10 years of experience in information technology. Minimum 7 years managing Windows System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
2. Experience working in large complex virtualized environments utilizing change management policies and procedures.
3. Experience with installing, configuring and administering Management packs, views, monitors, rules gateway servers, subscriptions, user roles and application monitoring using orchestrator and the SCOM console.•In addition the consultant will make recommendations on how to best utilize the tools.
4. Working knowledge of Monitoring Active Directory, Citrix, MSSQL and Exchange and other Windows servers
5. Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply this to day-to-day work activities
6. A strong willingness to learn, and accept instruction as well as having the ability and discipline to work and deliver on project tasks unattended.
7. 7-10 years of experience managing Windows Server infrastructure and the following skills:• Familiarity with SCOM connectors• Strong SCOM ACS background• Power shell experience• Strong SQL Reporting Services experience and SCOM dash-boarding a plus
