Role: Windows System Admin - Patch Compliance Improvement Engineer
6+ month rolling
On site: Redmond, WA
MOI: Webex video call
Day to Day duties:
· Provide process guidance and leadership to internal teams responsible for the patching and vulnerability remediation of systems and applications.
· Partner with infrastructure and applications operations to ensure they are in sync with the patch management policies, standards, and procedures.
· Develop, execute, and maintain processes, procedures, and monitor the governance of patch management activities.
· Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand business requirements, manage design and implementation of technical solutions to meet the requirements.
· Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement to include, but not limited to, deployment of automated patch application across the portfolio.
Experience:
5+ years Microsoft Windows System Update Server (WSUS), patch management for client PCs and server
5+ years Support patching
5+ years Remediation
Tenacious work approach in delivering accurate, complete and up to date IS asset inventory management and reporting.
4+ years SCCM packaging is a plus
Patch management automation using SCCM

Ability to troubleshoot workstations and server (Windows 7 and 10 severs 2008, 2012, 2016)

Ability to operates, maintains, and provides customer support for a wide variety of complex technology components
Ability to analyze and develop innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level.
Works independently with consultation from teams on site at client
