KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating system.
Advanced knowledge of Windows AD and supporting functions
Advanced Knowledge of Enterprise Backup Solutions, Net Backup Data Center experienced preferred
Advanced Knowledge of Email systems, Exchange experienced preferred.
Advanced Knowledge of Clustered Services and / or resources, Microsoft 2003 Clustered Services preferred.
Advanced Knowledge of Enterprise Backup Solution, Symantec Enterprise Edition preferred.
Advanced Knowledge of Enterprise Management System, SMS experience preferred.
Advanced Knowledge of Terminal Services / Citrix preferred
Advanced Knowledge of the VM environment
Advanced Knowledge of other Management tools such as Insight Manager, Argent, MOM, HP Open view.
Networking technologies and designs.
Multiple operating systems and hardware platforms.
Health Level 7 (HL7), ANSI and other healthcare system standards.
PC based applications such as Microsoft Office.
Enterprise business and operations applications.
Knowledge of and demonstrated skills and experience in project management techniques and ability to conceptualize, implement and support technology, applications, programs and services.
Knowledge of Health Care regulatory environment.
Fluent in and understanding of computer and healthcare related concepts and vernacular.
Proficiency in oral and written communication, including good grammar and spelling.
Skill in analyzing, designing, and troubleshooting systems.
Skill in organizing, prioritizing and re-prioritizing workload.
Skill in defining and translating users’ requests into effective functional specifications and documentation.
Ability to document systems and write procedures for MHS system staff.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and make independent decisions.
Ability to work independently under limited supervision and take initiative.
