6-9 months contract for a Windows 10 Deployment Engineer (night shift) in San Francisco, CA
Interview: phone and WebEx
Visa status: US permanent residents are preferred, but candidates holding valid work visas (H1B, EAD, OPT EAD, TN) are accepted!
Location: candidates must be local to San Francisco, CA or ready to relocate. After the initial time onsite, the candidate will be working mostly remote, but should be available to come into the office for meeting if/when needed
Rate: $50/hr C2C

The goal is to deploy Windows 10 into the client’s environment. This person will work on the night shift after the first couple of weeks of on boarding.
The shifts will be 4pm-1am and 12am-9am.
Summary:
“Client” is looking for a Windows 10 Deployment Engineer who is knowledgeable with OS deployments through SCCM. This person must be capable of understanding what they are doing in SCCM, what the outcome is, as well as troubleshooting.
This person will take group if users/deployments coming in and say this is next the deployment to go. This person must know what pre-work and scheduling on tool side needs to happen, they need to ensure success and track deployment.
Post deployment, this person will be remotely troubleshooting issues, for example: Reading logs, understanding what went wrong, how to fix remotely overnight, and do status and detail for local support next morning for computers that couldn’t be remotely repaired or completed.
This work will be performed Onsite initially for a few weeks to get to know what they are doing and understand scope and focus of project and to get to know the team. This person will be remote on the night shift after the first few weeks.
Preferred Skills:
Admin who can do scripting would be a strength
SQL queries
SCCM report writing
Remote management skills – Windows desktop troubleshooting
Technologies:
Windows 10 deployment experience is a MUST
Scripting – VB Script, .Net, C#, PowerShell, HTA’s (user interface for processes and scripts - Creating and HTA to connect to CMDB to pull down computer names and map it see previous computer and replacement computer to fix computer replacements
SCCM (1710) – latest version
