Job Description :
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Windchill System Administrator/Analyst on a long term consulting basis. In this role, the Windchill System Administrator / Analyst will:
~ Support an upgrade project by independently working through the technical steps that include running WINDU tasks relevant for the upgrade, analyzing reports and resolving issues.
~ Install new Windchill software and configures cluster setup, office worker, indexer, Cognos and remote file servers on Linux (RHEL) OS.
~ Provide performance tuning of Windchill application to ensure stable environment.
~ Provides support implementing SSL/TLS (HTTPS) for new Windchill installation.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
~ Minimum ten years of professional experience in administering and configuring Windchill clustered environments.
~ Upgrading Windchill clustered environment running on Unix/Linux operating systems.
~ Configuring Windchill application components – PDF Publishing, Remote file servers, Vaulting, Cognos and Indexing server.
~ Windchill data models and familiarity with upgrade/installation related database table records with troubleshooting experience of upgrade related issues.
~ SSL configuration/implementation for Windchill.
~ Windchill Upgrade from Version 11.1 F000 to Version 11.1 M020.
~ Upgrading Windchill (cluster setup) and on Linux OS.
