WellView Support Analyst

Duration: 1 year+

Location: Woodlands/ Spring TX area

This position will be part of a team within our client providing technical support, data management, end user training and administrative tasks pertaining to WellView and RigView Peloton products. The responsibilities of this position include:

Developing reports to meet business requirements including building queries, single / multi-reports and batch reports.

Building ad-hoc complex queries and reports using SQL to provide data to end users.

Assisting with data quality and audits.

Modifying application User Defined Layer based on business requirements.

Interfacing with other ExxonMobil IT groups for testing routine system upgrades such as changes with databases and servers.

Troubleshooting and resolving database, sync host and other issues globally.

Troubleshooting on premise and cloud versions of WellView.

Assisting with version upgrades of WellView (WV 9 -> WV 10) and RigView.

Required skills and experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience with WellView and RigView providing technical support, training, resolving system issues and building reports required.

Upstream Oil and Gas with experience in IT required, Drilling, WellWork and Completions business processes and systems preferred.

SQL Server and Oracle experience.

Tableau and Spotfire experience preferred.

Ability to work well in a global team environment, handle heavy workloads and a self-starter.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
