Hands on working experience with:
WebSphere Application Server V7, V8 & V8.5 & Liberty profile.
Tomcat servers
Application deep-dive monitoring tools, in particular CA APM
Linux and Windows OS
Automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, BladeLogic, Puppet
Unix shell scripting, python, power shell and Jython
Ø Able to install, configure and troubleshoot Java application servers and applications.
Ø Troubleshooting of systems and applications beyond the basics.
Ø Experience with WebSphere Portal & iBPM, MQ, Redis, Oracle Coherence, COGNOS & other BI products will be added advantage.
Ø Able to partner closely with the application development/Deployment teams during release & production issues.
Ø Able to work closely with Architecture & Design Team during new product introduction and setups.
Ø Knowledge of Docker, and setup of containerized applications.
Ø Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks.
Ø Understanding of the Agile methodology
Ø Knowledge and experience with application integration
Ø Experience with Network and Application tier technologies
Ø Experience with virtualization environments and tools
Ø Experience with web services & consumption
Ø Experience with SDLC automation, best practices & tools
Ø Experience developing integrated/automated unit tests as part of SDLC
Ø Experience programming tools/applications, technology solutions based on requirements
Ø Experience with web application development
Ø Security best practices
Ø Good written and oral communication.
Ø Explain complex design items through documents and whiteboard sessions.
