Title: WAS, IIS , Websphere Administrator
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: Fulltime

Description:
Middleware admin resource with 4-5 years experience in WAS, IIS and websphere.
Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all middleware support issues which includes IBM WAS, MS IIS and websphere.

Websphere Application server Administration
Monitor server status and alert notifications. Perform daily health checks
Install and configure WAS, performance related issues
Installing WebSphere Application Server (WAS) on various platforms
Installing IBM HTTP Server (HIS)
Installing / uninstalling the WebSphere Plugin
Setup Java2 security permissions for applications
?JDBC Providers
?JDBC Datasources
?J2C Aliases
?Various other JEE resource types

Enable/Disable administrative and Java2 security
?Understanding application resource bindings
?Understanding deployment descriptors (Application.xml and Web.xml)
?Managing business workflow and LDAP issues for federated repositories / virtual realms. Understanding the different requirements of use and nuances.
?Setup and understand Security Domains
?Setting up SSL certificates. Understanding CA (certificate Authorities), CSRs (Certificate Signing Requests) and how to manage chained certificates. Know how to manage key stores and trust stores via admin console and via scripting. Maybe also learn OpenSSL. Also ikeyman Tool from IBM and GSKit.

Websphere admin
1. Problem analysis and resolution.
2. Perform system performance and stability monitoring
3. Provide support and coordination of planned activities both day-time and night-time on working days and non-working days
4. Manage the system maintenance activities in SIT/UAT, Production, and DR environment
5. Collection and analysis of system statistics
6. On-call standby support 24x7
7. Other task to be assigned by superior

IIS webserver admin
Responsible for the operation and administration of IIS web servers

Maintains and monitors all IIS applications to ensure performance and availability. Performs troubleshooting and responses to all IIS related application issues.
