Job Description :
Job Summary: The ideal candidate is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and on-going support including on-call of the Websphere Application Server. Candidate is responsible for Installing, implementing, tuning and troubleshoot of the infrastructure. Should have ability to analyze & communicate root cause and resolution steps - Familiarity with Middleware Best Practices - Working knowledge of the IIS software security model and adaptability – WAS/Middleware Software.


Responsibilities and Duties
Design, build, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot WebSphere Application Server (WAS), third party WAS based product deployments and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus.
Installation of IBM Websphere Application server architecture in a multi-tiered environment.
Monitor and tune Application performance on WebSphere, Client and other WebSphere based products.
Experience with Devops tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo and build automation process.
Understanding of the WAS architecture, installation, configuration, development, maintenance and hands on implementation experience of WebSphere Application Server and Applications on multiple OS platforms.
Experience in application monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning the application servers.
Experience installing and configuring WAS versions 7/8.5*or higher.
Install and configure IBM HTTP Server V8.5.5.X on Linux / Windows / AIX.
Experience installing IIS patches for service – engine and client tiers.
Strong scripting skills including wsadmin scripting, python, jacl and shell scripts.
Provide 24X7 Production Support.


Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 plus years of experience in Administrating, implementing, and managing Middleware Infrastructure.
Extensive experience and expertise in installation and configuration of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment and IBM HTTP Server.
Expert skills in applying WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server maintenance Fix Packs and upgrades.
Experience on creating a Clustered environment.
Experience in Unix Shell Scripting a must.
Knowledge of SSL certs and SSH public/private key security.
