WebMethods Administration
Montgomery, AL (Locals 1st)
12 months
Provide the following deliverables per direction of and assignment by the Agency Project Sponsor and/or the Agency Project Manager:
webMethods solutions as assigned by the Medicaid Infrastructure Services and Support Manager
Documentation of all feature/functionality changes developed or implemented
Routine status reports/updates
Providing webMethods administration support to a large, complex project that requires skills in multiple technical
areas
Maintains and supports the entire webMethods environment
Requires full proficiency in webMethods flow language, SQL, and other technologies as identified by the Medicaid
Infrastructure Services and Support Manager
Ability to install, configure, and maintain webMethods servers
Creating scripts for routine maintenance procedures
Server environment monitoring in both production and non-production environments, to include server performance
(CPU – RAM – Storage), status of connections, and other health checks
Monitor server logs and error logs and report incident when errors/issues are discovered
webMethods capacity planning
Supporting Disaster Recovery implementation and testing
webMethods Patch/Fix/Service Pack upgrades
Server and service restarts and maintenance
Assisting in webMethods version upgrades
Develop status reports for distribution to management
Manage access requests across various webMethods environments, including Active Transfer • Excellent written
and verbal communication skills
Ability to document code and functionality.
Experience: • over all 8-10yrs IT experince and 5 years of experience with webMethods administration
Experience in webMethods version 9.x or above
Needs to be able to work independently and not rely on other team members for direction
Education/Certification: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with advance education in fields related to position or equivalent experience
