Description:
The Worker will participate in web development team, creating and maintaining cloud-based public and internal web applications. Applications are built using JavaScript front-end frameworks (Angular 6+), and a REST API back end built with NodeJs and AWS serverless technologies.
The Worker will perform routine programming tasks in an agile environment, including implementing solutions based on user stories and customer designs, and providing technical expertise to the team with design discussions and peer reviews. Worker will provide feedback and contribute expertise to improve applications and development processes.
Worker will perform these tasks:
· Develop functional and maintainable web applications, websites and components
· Write high-quality, reusable code following industry best practices
· Develop front-end website interfaces using Angular 6+ (TypeScript)
· Develop back-end functionality using AWS Lambda functions written in NodeJs (using TypeScript)
· Design and implement database schemas in MySQL and DynamoDB NoSQL
· Develop and maintain REST API deployments using the serverless.com framework
· Develop front end layouts using Bootstrap and SCSS technologies
· Follow best practices for serverless architecture
· Participate in peer code reviews
· Write unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks
· Serve as an advisor on JavaScript development to the team
· Review and validate proposed architectural solutions
· Participate in project meetings
The worker must have strong experience working in a team environment.

Minimum Requirements:

8 Experience as a Web Software Developer including:
· Web site development in a production environment in any language
· Proposing and Designing website architecture based on customer requirements
· Writing code and unit tests
5 Experience with AWS Cloud
5 Experience with GIT
3 Experience with highly complex application security requirements
3 Experience developing back-end functionality using AWS Lambda functions written in NodeJs (using TypeScript)
3 Experience with NodeJs
3 Experience with REST API development and integration
3 Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases
2 Experience with AWS Serverless architecture
2 Experience with Agile and Scrum
2 Experience with writing unit tests
1 Experience with serverless.com framework
Current YES AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification
