REQUIREMENT :


Web Functional Tester - Dallas ,TX - 12Plus Months Contract - Prefer “ LOCAL” Candidates if Possible .


Job Responsibilities:

Reviews business requirements and use cases; creates test cases/scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing with clearly defined expected results
Performs functional, integration, sanity, ad-hoc, and smoke testing
Prepares test data or works with data analysts to define test data needs
Logs defects with associated documentation; works with development team to explain and help resolve defects
Estimate work when needed
Provides status reporting; attends daily stand up meetings when working in an Agile team
Quickly learns and understands existing applications that are undergoing upgrades
Maintains complete confidentiality of client business and strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
4 years of IT work experience; SQL script development experience is a plus.
Experience with hotel property management systems and reservation systems is a plus
Experience in testing hotel functions such as check-in, check-out, and door lock systems is also desirable.
Knowledge of test management tools e.g. JIRA a must.
Effective communicator with testing and development team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with offshore teams is a must
