Title: Web Developer
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: Fulltime / Contract
Description:
Consultants (can also include PM) must collectively meet all of the following minimum qualifications (the team of Consultants must collectively meet all of the qualifications; each Consultant must meet at least one qualification):
Five (5) years of experience within the last six (6) years developing and converting websites using OSS tools and WordPress CMS tools.
Four (4) years of experience within the last six (6) years developing requirement specifications for private or public sector websites.
Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years designing and configuring responsive WordPress CMS websites.
Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years developing public sector websites utilizing all of the following tools:
a. Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator,
b. Adobe Acrobat,
c. WordPress CMS,
d. CSS, JavaScript, PHP, HUML, MySQL, Maria DB, and PostgreSQL,
e. Linux, Apache, and Acunetx.
Provide one (1) work sample for each of the following projects which were completed within the last three (3) years:
Website design for private or public agency. Consultants may provide a URL as a sample but must specify in resume what tasks were completed by them.
a. Business plan for website development services.
b. Detailed project plan for website development or conversion. Bid submissions that fail to provide the requested samples above will be disqualified.
DUTIES
The Consultants shall perform all of the following duties:
1.Website Development & Conversion Project Management Plan Consultants shall coordinate and maintain project plans by providing guidance and best practices recommendations in the development of project planning documents to ensure proper staff allocation, action plans, governance guidelines, development standards and successful deployment of sites within prescribed timeframes.
Consultants will provide outlines and standards for development of requirements specifications, wireframes and use of other agile development, prototyping and deployment tools.
Consultants will provide consulting services for the evaluation and selection of tools and plugins appropriate to various websites considering load, scope, security and other needs.
