Job Description :
The Web Developer will develop new functionalities as well as manage existing ones within the CMS with a focus on client side UI and CMS authoring. The developer will work on many high profile client websites and web applications including, but not limited to, designing and developing site HTML structure, implementing custom components, creating UI interactions, and unit testing. Works with leading-cutting-edge technologies which change continuously and the Web Developer will be keen to learning new tools and technologies, learn new systems and processes, and enjoy problem solving.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience
Must have a minimum of 1 year of development experience in Adobe 5.6.1/6.0/6.1
Experienced with web languages/technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
Experience in the design and development of reusable frameworks effectively leveraging design patterns
Must have experience with Content Management Systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Knowledgeable of CSS pre-processor SASS/LESS and Grunt or Gulp
Must be familiar with standard software-development life-cycles and project-management methodologies (such as Agile)
Knowledge of W3C standards and SEO principles
Knowledgeable in version control software; Subversion, GIT
Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML
Knowledge of server-side practices and technologies, ideally Java based platforms
Skilled in debugging cross-browser issues and solutions
Knowledgeable solving accessibility issues
Skilled in applying best practice working methodologies and processes
Understanding of web architecture concepts (session, cache, cookies, connection pooling)
Great attention to detail and QA testing are paramount
Adobe Photoshop skills and knowledge of graphic file formats preferred
Excellent communicator and team player
