JD - API architect
This position is responsible for leading a team of Oracle Fusion Middleware and backoffice application software developers to deliver Web API for internal and external consumption. The responsibilities include definition and implementation of Web API product; Web API architecture, design, implementation, integration, and testing; creation of standard work instructions and support documentation for Web API; collaboration and planning activities with internal and external customers. The role demands continuous on the job learning of new technologies and mentoring of development teams. API architect is expected to demonstrate work products and conduct workshops as required.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, computer science or related discipline required plus 5-10 years of experience with enterprise architecture.
Experience across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle required
Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies as well as DevOps principles
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle eBusiness Suite
Solid understanding of Web API design and security
Experience with automated testing for Web API and Oracle Fusion Middleware
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work well and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Must have ability to work well in a distributed team environment and under pressure
