Position: Tableau Sr.Developer
Location: Raritan, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Responsibilities:
10 + years of experience in IT using BI Technologies
3+ plus years of hands on expertise with Tableau Desktop Product & Tableau Server
Work with customers to define reporting needs and implement Tableau reports to satisfy needs
Provide recommendations for data presentation within reports/dashboards
Become familiar with the existing Tableau reports and verify new reports against existing ones
Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of our reporting process – including automation of existing manual datasets
Understand the business needs so that you can translate open questions to solved insights that motivate our entire team to do more.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews and QA bringing an open mind to your work and a helpful eye for others.
Good working knowledge on SQL
Strong experience in creating Dimensional Reports. Excellent communication and presentation skills
Technical in Tableau:
Create customized and interactive Tableau dashboards using multiple data sources - Oracle, Hive, Spark, teradata, CSV files
Take board requirements and transfer into fast developed prototypes and working solutions
Provide expertise developing Tableau reports dealing with predictive results from analytical trending and modeling
Adhere to corporate tableau templates and standards
Define and communicate best practices for report development
Work with data architects to define report performance optimized data models
Develop detailed data mapping and end-to-end process flows
Participate in design reviews and brainstorming session
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an IT-related field
Experience working with big data analytics, automation, or machine learning technologies
Strong Data Analytics skills with an ability to analyze datasets with Microsoft Excel or Tableau and work with customers to define KPIs for monitoring process improvement
