Job Description:
1. Responsible for Design and Implementation of Spark in Cloud platform and building Analytics solution on top of it.
2. Should Lead the Technical Requirements and provide the Design for implementation by Dev team.
3. Should be Hands-on and write code using SQL or Spark based on the needs4. Guide onshore and offshore teams to ensure standards are met
5. Work with the application development teams throughout the development life cycle
6. Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks
7. Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions with Customer
Experience and Skills:
6+ years of experience in the Data warehouse technologies with specialization in creating Spark migration on Cloud
3+ Years experience in building End To End Platform using Hadoop Eco System.
Scala or Java programming experience & Experience with Airflow or AWS data pipeline
Extensive Solutioning and implementation skills using AWS EMR platform involving Spark based solutions with:
Processing Streaming inputs / Importing data in to HDFS from Heterogeneous technologies
Capacity Planning for Hadoop Clusters
Processing Structured data in a SLA driven environment
Expertise in Hadoop Monitoring and Performance tuning activities
Knowledge of E2E Hadoop echo system
Hands on wrt development and admin
Experience in working in Agile development methodology projects
2+ years of experience in leading and mentoring team at Lead level
Technical team management experience including offshore team members
Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
