Responsibilities
Works with a diverse team of technical and non-technical resources to gather business requirements and translate those requirements into a speech recognition self-service application.
Acts as an SME of business rules and application users to aid in operational matters such as estimation, release planning, environment planning of migrating business, intake triaging, defect triaging, as well as other daily planning and resourcing activities.
Analyzes and classifies complex change requests
Delivers recommendations and designs (standard artifacts) to partners.
Works with the technical teams to ensure the design is being designed and coded from an application perspective as specified.
Works with the test teams during the design phase to validate test scripts are accurate based on the signed design documentation.
Works within the LEAN Agile SDLC parameter’s and definitions of a User Experience Designer.
Facilitate tuning studies to optimize the performance of speech recognition systems including tuning of call flows, prompts, grammars and speech parameters. Analyze call logs, whole call recordings, and utterance transcriptions.
Communicates collaboratively with team members
Articulating a clear, consistent voice on end-to-end user experience design to project teams and stakeholders.
Assists relevant teams in identifying necessary test data to satisfy all positive and negative test scenarios.
Reviews and evaluates possible enhancements
Works with development team to prepare functional and/or technical specifications from which programs are written.
Facilitates small group sessions to elicit more complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions or leading small groups in code reviews and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications
Demonstrated subject matter expertise in voice self-service speech recognition applications.
Confirmed relationship management skills with a focus on building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, peers and supervisors. Has provided coaching/ mentoring to achieve organizational goals and enhance knowledge and skills.
10 years’ experience in designing software system personas to be embodied in user interfaces for touch-tone and speech-enabled Voice Self Service (VSS) software applications utilizing Grammar Extensible Markup Language (GrXML)
Has demonstrated abilities to troubleshoot speech applications.
Has excellent communication and presentation skills
