Role: Vertica Db Performance Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 + months
Job Description:
* In depth on Vertica Physical and Logical Architecture
* Projection Design and SQL Tuning
* Kafka and ETL Experience Preferred
* Vertica Management Console
* Setting up tableau Dashboard is a big plus
* Expert on Various Tuning and Error Logging
* Installation, Rebalance, Backup and Recovery - Resource Management,
Memory Management
* Deep understanding of various Tools
* Deep Understanding of Linux Operating System, Commands, Tracing and
Performance tools
* Ability to write Python scripts
* Understanding of tuning OS level Kernel parameters
* Nice to have understanding of Kafka or other RDBMSs
* Excellent communication skills
Overall a very good performance engineer who is ready to drive things to
closure end to end.
