Desired Skills and Experience

Participated in at least 3 tape-outs using UVM/OVM methodology.
Must have experience developing test plan, test benches, writing test cases.
Must have the capacity to debug and root cause failures.
Familiarity with UPF or CPF low power flow would be a big plus.
Experience verifying PCIe and DDR3/4 is desirable.
Experience verifying SOCs with ARM/Tensilica and the likes is highly desirable
Good scripting skills in PERL/TCL and Makefiles

Job Description
o This is a very high visibility position leading the design of Xilinx and
Altera FPGAs for a highly-advanced airborne wireless base station that
provides wireless internet from 60,000 feet.
Responsibilites
o Specify the design: Prepare FPGA Design Specification Word
document, including Requirements, Theory of Operation, Block
Diagram illustrating data, control, clock and power paths, and FPGA
test plan. Prepare Software Interface Control Document describing
programmable registers in Excel format (ICD)
o Architect and code in Verilog and/or System Verilog the FPGA design.
Prepare constraint files, instantiate IP blocks as needed
o Design test benches and run thorough functional simulations. Work
with software engineers to valid HAL-level software on the FPGA test
platform
o Work with board designers and software engineers to integrate FPGA
into the final hardware. Supervise final FPGA test.
Requirements
o Requires deep experience in FPGA design, from Specification, through
RTL, Synthesis, Place & Route, and Lab Test.
o Thorough fluency in Vivado and Quartus design environments.
o Experience with PCIe root complex IP. Experience with DSP design
(both processor and RTL-based) strongly desired.
Ethernet IP in Xilinx required. Experience with Zynq and Max 10 plus

o Experience design FPGA for high-reliability Wireless applications
