The Vendavo Senior QA Engineer should have excellent engagement management, project management, and client facing skills.
This role requires extensive experience in leading the testing of pricing scenarios along with exposure to enterprise resource planning solutions in the Pricing area.
Must be able to work well with a team or independently and either onsite or remotely.
Able to handle complex tasks and should be able to develop user stories and have experience with Agile processes, including the ability to adopt hybrid models of Agile with other project life cycle methodologies like water fall. Integration projects with demonstrated expertise in CRM, Salesforce, other ERP and/or data warehouse technologies preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with client business and functional teams to ensure the implementation features meet the business requirements.
Design, review and contribute on test plans, test cases, test scenarios, scripts and procedures.
Reporting, follow-up, Bug tracking, risks and escalations management.
Documenting, understanding and describing complex technical subjects and business processes.
Review, maintain and improve current manual and automated software test methodologies and processes.
Preparing documents with good and concise explanation of the functionality.
Test data integration between Vendavo and other source applications and/or data warehouse repositories.
Interface with client end users and functional teams.
Act as an SME of internal tools, methodology and knowledge management
Direct the testing activities of other QA engineers
Specific qualifications include:
7 years’ experience in manual and/or automation testing, preferably in Vendavo or other pricing solution.
Familiar with Software Configuration Management tools, such as GITHUB, for version controlling and build management.
Experience in assessment and planning of test cases/activities of new/modified functionality/features.
Experience with Vendavo 8.1 framework or later
Good pricing business acumen
Up to date with current testing processes/tools/software/frameworks
Good familiarity of Vendavo framework and the major modules (PA, PM and DM)
Knowledge/experience with automation testing/scripts preferred.
Good testing/debugging reporting skills including collecting logs, filing detailed bug reports and analyzing root cause
Ability to learn new technologies/skills quickly
Ability to grasp complex business processes quickly
Very strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business field - Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems is preferred
