Job Description :
5 to 10 Years of relevance experience on VMware and Citrix administration. The Citrix Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of Citrix Xen App / Xen Desktop and Citrix Access Gateway (Net Scaler) systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the Infrastructure.
Job description involves
Managing Virtual Infrastructure :
v Install, configure, and manage VMware Horizon View enterprise platform
v Patch Golden images and recompose desktop pools
v Manage and troubleshoot Virtual Desktop infrastructure.
v App Virtualization using VMware Thin App.
v Manage and administer user Personalization technology such VMware UEM
v Knowledge of change management process and experienced in planning and executing scheduled changes
v Work with business clients to evaluate, streamline, and improve current systems, processes, and workflow
v Closely work with AD, SQL, Network, Storage Team
v Monitors and maintains the operation of the Citrix environment
v Packages, updates, and deploys new applications and environments as-needed
v Intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Xen
v Intermediate knowledge of automation and alerting technologies

Reporting :
v Hardware and software inventory.
v Customization of reports.
v Maintains documentation, inventory records, incident and change records, researches incidents, and implements corrective actions
v Documents any issues through identified Incident Management or Change Management process and creates for approval (CM), where necessary

Image Template Management :
v Customization of new image Templates.
v Creation and customization of new Templates.
v Create & Manage Citrix related group policies
v Knowledge of different types of Image creation
General:
v Good Knowledge on Active Directory, Networking and Storage.
v Troubleshooting knowledge on IIS
v Sound knowledge in PowerShell and HTA scripting.
v Should have sound knowledge on Group Policies, performance tuning etc.,
v ITIL Certification, along with process knowledge on Incident Management, Service Management and Service Management.
