Job Description :
Managing Virtual Infrastructure :
Install, configure, and manage VMware Horizon View enterprise platform
Patch Golden images and recompose desktop pools
Manage and troubleshoot Virtual Desktop infrastructure.
App Virtualization using VMware Thin App.
Manage and administer user Personalization technology such VMware UEM
Knowledge of change management process and experienced in planning and executing scheduled changes
Work with business clients to evaluate, streamline, and improve current systems, processes, and workflow
Closely work with AD, SQL, Network, Storage Team
Monitors and maintains the operation of the Citrix environment
Packages, updates, and deploys new applications and environments as-needed
Intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Xen
Intermediate knowledge of automation and alerting technologies
Reporting :
Hardware and software inventory.
Customization of reports.
Maintains documentation, inventory records, incident and change records, researches incidents, and implements corrective actions
Documents any issues through identified Incident Management or Change Management process and creates for approval (CM), where necessary
Image Template Management :
Customization of new image Templates.
Creation and customization of new Templates.
Create & Manage Citrix related group policies
Knowledge of different types of Image creation
General :
Good Knowledge on Active Directory, Networking and Storage.
Troubleshooting knowledge on IIS
Sound knowledge in PowerShell and HTA scripting.
Should have sound knowledge on Group Policies, performance tuning etc.,
ITIL Certification, along with process knowledge on Incident Management, Service Management and Service Management.
