JOB TITLE: VMWare Architect

LOCATION: Austin, TX

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: 2+ Months with anticipated extension for FY 2019.

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Worker will be responsible for translating business requirements into specific systems and process designs. Analyzes and plans customer service requirements and designs service solutions to meet those objectives. Responsible for analyzing, constructing and communicating specific solutions, scope documents, and risk profiles related to VMWare Horizon Enterprise Edition. Has expert level knowledge, skills and abilities in VMWare technologies and participates in efforts to review, deploy and implement product and architecture solutions. Worker should possess knowledge of VMWare, VMWare Horizon Enterprise Edition, VMWare Horizon View, Cloud technologies, and/or virtual desktop infrastructure technologies.

Primary functions include, but are not limited to:

· VMWare Horizon Enterprise planning, analysis and deployment;

· Planning and configuring VMWare technologies according to design;

· Finalizing configuration work materials with physical design elements;

· Planning and executing service component function test validation; and

· VMWare consultation, producing technical documentation, and providing knowledge transfer.

Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience

Experience developing, planning and configuring VMWare technologies according to design; pro-actively assessing business needs of program to plan, implement and deploy VMWare technology solutions to address automation needs

Experience analyzing, defining and finalizing configuration work materials with physical design elements

Experience providing technical support; experience planning and executing service component function test validations

Experience providing VMWare consultation, producing technical documentation, and providing knowledge transfer

Experience with VMWare Horizon Enterprise planning, analysis and deployment; experience with Cross-Cloud Architecture, VMWare Horizon Enterprise Edition, Cloud Technologies and virtual desktop infrastructure

Ability to identify implementation risks and analyze potential impact on the achievement of scheduled objectives

Skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy

Knowledge and experience with the Texas Child Support program or Texas Child Support Enforcement Systems
