Job Description:
Responsible for designing, building, maintaining and aligning the solutions for next generation Software Defined Data Center and private cloud deployments using SDN, provisioning and orchestration tools like VMware NSX, vRA and vRO
Responsible for engineering of vRealize Automation and supporting and creating vCenter Orchestrator workflows.
Responsible for creating blueprints and catalogues in vRealize Automation with integration of NSX and vRO.
Responsible for writing workflows in vRO for integrating data center entities to NSX and vRA
Design, Build and Test networking and security services to adhere to best practice across Hybrid Cloud using NSX.
Automate the consumption of network and security services through NSX
Determines technical requirements based on interactions with stake holders and knowledge of the infrastructure architecture
Works with cloud and enterprise architects to ensure the cloud infrastructure architecture is aligned with company architectural standards and strategies
Continual process and code improvement to continually make the automation platform better and support ever changing requirements
Skills:
Generally 10-15 years of related experience
Strong experience with VMware NSX, vRA and vRO workflow design and development.
Strong experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, power Shell etc
Experience working with private cloud services and server virtualization products and technologies (VMWare NSX
Networking: In-depth understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols including switching technologies, routing fundamentals, IP subnetting and Address Management, firewalling, load balancers, Security trust zones, Management Networks, VPN and network design.
High level of experience with automation of infrastructure
Ability to work with minimal direction, thrive in a team development environment
Strong Scripting and Orchestration skills on VMware VRA/VRO
