Job Title: VBA Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: CONTRACT(12+ months)
Job Description:
- Develop testing automation tools using Excel and Access VBA, ADO, XML
- Use automated tools to create reliable datasets from test tool and system sources
- Run regression suites for calculation testing of insurance illustration systems
- Actively use T-SQL to interact with SQL server both via connection string and SSMS
- Debug test tool issues and follow up on functional tester questions
- Keep relevant files and documentation up to date
- Clearly communicate with the team and management regarding development and run status Qualifications
- good understanding of SDLC
- 3+ years of active VBA development experience
- strong understanding of the Excel object model
- strong T-SQL skills, understanding of relational databases
- experience with C#, web services, dll creation and use a plus
- experience working with HP ALM and Quality Center a plus
- ability to gather requirements, code cleanly and document
- organized, detail-oriented, team player
