Strong experience with user-centered design methodologies, ability to transform complex data and workflow processes into web based interfaces.
Strong experience using Axure, Photoshop and HTML to build wireframes and prototypes.
Experience with Agile work methodology.

Power user of multiple design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite for visual design needs Axure, and/or HTML (for interactions and workflow details) and an ability to clearly communicate complex ideas.

Relevant application (Axure, PowerPoint, Illustrator, etc and design process expertise.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology or related work experience.
5+ years of experience in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, or related field, with most recent experience in web and application design in an agile methodology.
Visual design or a strong aesthetic sensibility.
Applicable design and development tool experience (or equivalents) –Axure, Dreamweaver, Fireworks/Photoshop, etc.
Experience working on Web/software/multimedia development teams using agile methodology (Required
Experience and expertise in web-based user interface design and evaluation methods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop quality user interface designs for complex new or existing web and software applications, based on extensive knowledge and experience with: customers; product requirements; user interface architecture; other user interface designs, and industry and company interface standards.
Create concept designs and prototypes in order to communicate and develop design ideas, research findings, and user interface specifications.
Maintain current awareness of technological advances and issues in related design field.
Evaluate user interface design alternatives through user testing.
Develop test plans, conduct research, analyze data, document and disseminate results, and use results to influence design.
