User Experience Designers
We are currently engaged in a project that requires several User Experience Designers on a long-term consulting basis. In this role, the User Experience Designers will:
* Work collaboratively with business stakeholders and IT staff to provide responsive design and layout in an HTML and CSS environment for conversion of fully functional desktop website to responsive mobile site.
* Build out a responsive site and implement all of the functionality that currently exists on the desktop site while taking direction from the in-house design lead.
* Assess current consumer facing web applications and evaluate layouts, usability and user interface for cut-over to responsible mobile site including navigation, style guides and breakpoints.
* Utilize Axure for wire-framing, rapid prototyping, documentation and specifications.
* Assist in managing visual design, brand & marketing integration.
* Utilize graphics software applications, techniques, and tools for web design solutions that support external communication strategies and goals.
* Work closely with business peers to understand project requirements and create web design solutions that enhance the online user experience.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
* User Experience/User Interface Design for consumer facing web and micro-sites.
* Responsive design, layout and usability in HTML and CSS environments.
* Web site user experience standards and knowledge of emerging technology in responsive design and mobile technology.
* Axure (or other tools) for wire-framing, prototyping and documentation.
* Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphics tools.
* A team player who has contributed to collaborative design teams and has taken direction from in-house design leads.
