10 to 12 years of experience for Masters and 12-15 years for BS/BA in design.
Excellent time-management, multi-tasking ability, and the ability to prioritize
Strong visual and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team
Manager Specific Requirements
Needs experience primarily in Interaction Design, but skills in Visual Design, Usability Testing, and/or User Research are also a plus.
Having an understanding of Network platforms, devices and Service models is a plus.
Familiarity with UserZoom (remote usability testing platform) is a plus.
Responsibilities
Seeking an experienced UX designer to re-imagine the experience for a major customer service/technical support process.
The candidate should have experience with synthesizing complex, enterprise business processes into simple-seeming, delightful customer experiences.
Strong organizational skills are required due to the project's scale and complexity.
The candidate should be prepared to show a portfolio of work and explain how they used feedback from user research to improve their designs.
The candidate should have experience preparing prototypes for user testing (using prototyping software; coding is not required
The candidate will contribute to planning user research and may help set up remote testing sessions.
Experience with large-scale projects with core teams of 15+ and extended stakeholder groups of 12+.
Document user needs, skills, and task scenarios.
Ability to translate requirements into designs.
Define the user interaction model and work-flows.
Design mockups including wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
Document User Experience Specifications.
Work closely with product managers and product owners to deliver the final product.
Qualifications
BS/BA/Masters in Design, Human Computer Interaction or related degree in Computer Science with an HCI specialty, Human Factors, Industrial Design or related field or equivalent experience
