Job description:

The Director of Security is a strategic position within Clover that will lead and mentor the Security team of engineers.
They will be responsible to secure and protect Clover from data loss.
The Individual will drive architecture, security assessments, engineering, operations and governance activities throughout the company and serve as the company’s expert in security technology.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Subject Matter Expert, SME and provide guidance on all aspects of cybersecurity

Should have one or more of the following Certifications:

CEH, EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker
CompTIA Security+ (SY0-401)
CISSP, Certified Information Systems Security Professional
CISM, Certified Information Security Manager
CISA, Certified Information Systems Auditor
CCSP, Certified Cloud Security Professional
GIAC, Global Information Assurance Certification
OSWP, Offensive Security Wireless Professional
OSCP, Offensive Security Certified Professional
Experience implementing and supporting LogRhythm or other Security Information and Event Management, SIEM tools
Experience with Cisco Network-Based Intrusion Detection System, IDS ASA5555’s
Experience with Application and Penetration testing tools
Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of cybersecurity including but not limited to the creation and delivery of security training and awareness programs
Directly assist in the assurance of information security and integrity of client environment by developing, communicating, and applying Best Practices and policy derived security requirements, standards, and tools in the areas of encryption, scanning and intrusion detection, and incident investigation.
Lead the cybersecurity team, comprising of engineers and cyber professionals, responsible for the following:
Implementing the organizational IT Security requirements/security protective measure
Anticipating and providing substantive input with revisions of IT security policies
Address issues escalating from Service Desk personnel, systems administrators, etc., to ensure the highest degrees of security across all systems
Developing and maintaining IT Security Plans for all IT equipment
Working with security team on critical and high security incidents
Supporting security strategy, advanced security technology and tools, and continued improvement
Oversee functional and security testing of new, proposed IT products/solutions

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience; Master’s degree preferred
Demonstrated project management excellence
Possess excellent oral, written, customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Work related travel 10%
