Essential skills:
6-8 years of experience in MongoDB Database Administration in an enterprise environment.Experience with direct calls of at least one MongoDB driver, i.e. not Spring Data MongoDB or another ODM layerDemonstrated understanding of the MongoDB query and command functionality, e.g. CRUD operations, Aggregation framework, etc.Experience/familiarity with the operations and maintenance of production database systemsUnderstanding of schema design (relational and MongoDB), index design, operation optimization, query (or explain) plansExperience with identifying and correcting slow operations, in particular using log analysis (experience using mtools a plus)Understanding of interpreting Ops / Cloud Manager operation metricsExcellent Communication skills
Role description:
Deployment of Mongo DB in a Cloud based infrastructureDAtabase Administration of both production and non production Mongo DBsWork with Senior architects to resolve issues on a timely basesWork with L1/L2 support team to provide short term and long term fixesWork with Automation team to identify automation areas in provisioning and support of Mongo DB
