Job Description

12+ years of experience with last 3 years in creating Enterprise Data Models having
Minimum 6+months working experience with bigdata ( hadoop/hive)
Extensive experience in data modeling concepts (E-R modeling, conceptual/logical/physical/semantic, multi-dimensional models (star, snowflake), normalized/denormalized models)
Experience in Hadoop is highly desirable
Ability to apply Industry modeling standards to logical and physical ERDs
Experience in creating Source-Target data mapping (ETL data mapping with defined technical and business rules. Complex logic, not only 1:1 data mapping)
Experience in data - profile and analysis (metadata (formats, definitions, valid values, and boundaries), relationship/usage)
Experience in working with medium to large data warehouses/data lakes.
Experience driving data design and end to end processing
Experience with moderate SQL scripts (creating, reading, running, customizing)
Work independently with minor oversight
Work independently and with Business Analysts and SMEs to gather, document and explain requirements
Ability to work with the Development team.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills necessary
Life insurance experience is a plus
