Job Description:
Business Objects XI 4.X (Webi, Xcelsius, IDT, UDT, LCM, CMC), Universe Creation/Modification, User Management, Security, Administration Installation and Configuration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to solicit requirements and assist with testing
Knowledge of SQL programming, SQL Server, SSRS
Familiar with process and data modeling, development life cycle methodologies, IT planning methodology, extensive knowledge of the enterprise''s data and decision-making processes
MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)¦ Certification(s): Data Warehousing, TDWI, SQL Server, SAP BO Professional certifications preferred
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Installs, configures, and develops components such as Webi, Rich Client, and Xcelsius
Creates dashboards, metrics, scorecards and reports
Assists with architecting security, information dissemination, and integration with various data sources
Assists with evaluating, designing, implementing and maintaining business intelligence applications
Participates in system design reviews and application testing efforts
Assists with data modeling and provides input on simple and non-complex projects
Assists with activities related to data planning and development and the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to the development, management, security, maintenance and utilization of business intelligence applications
Assists with training and mentoring of less experienced associates
Gathers, validates and document business requirements for technology processes or systems
Adheres to release management, change control, SDLC procedures
Creates Business Objects universes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse as well as other Operational Data Sources
