Position :Salesforce Developer

client is looking to onboard a Salesforce developer, reporting to the Salesforce IT Leads. Developer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting end-user functionality delivered through Salesforce platform (Service Cloud, Veeva, Marketing Cloud) as well as building integrations to third party applications/websites. This role will be supporting various initiatives for Marketing, Sales, Medical, Patient Services, etc. based on priority and will be collaborating with the respective business analysts to analyze requirements and design.
Responsibilities:
Provides global logistics experience (preferably consumer goods)
Supply chain knowledge
Build detailed cross functional project plans ensuring inter-dependent task are crisply coordinated to prevent bottlenecks
Focused on critical path deliverables and rolling 30-60-90 milestones with specific daily/weekly tasks to ensure milestones are achieved as stated
Required Skills:
Must have extensive Salesforce experience with demonstrated mastery of user security and roles/permissions, custom objects, custom workflows, validation rules, triggers, process builder, application version control, and deployment procedures.
Must have experience developing web services (REST and SOAP API), APEX and Visual Force
Must have some experience with Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, specifically an understanding of the data model, functionality. Knowledge of Veeva CRM is a huge plus.
Must have experience with the following Salesforce tools: Force.com IDE, Force.com Explorer, Developer Console, Force.com, Data Loader.
Must have experience writing technical documentation
Must have excellent communication and accountability skills
Must work within a cohesive, fast-moving project team
Communication skills, team skills, attitude, and fit within our project culture are as important as Salesforce technical skills.
Pharma/Biotech industry experience
Nice to Have:
SFDC certificates are a plus such as:
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant
Experience with various Salesforce module connectors like Marketing Cloud
Knowledge of Veeva CRM and Veeva Align
Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience, Salesforce Communities
Knowledge of Salesforce platform encryption
Experience with developing ETL processes between Salesforce and third party systems is a plus (ex. Informatica)
Exposure to any of the following areas: Marketing, Commercial, Medical, Patient Services
